The Fleur de Sel, Mahe is self-catering holiday bungalows on the island of Mahe. It offers spacious bungalows that are beautifully decorated and right on the Anse Royale Beach. The beach is in the south of the island and never crowded. Each bungalow has a veranda with lounge chairs and the area is surrounded by beautiful tropical garden.
On the eastern side of Mahe, the bungalows face the rising sun. Each is air conditioned and holds up to four people including two adults and two children less than 10 years. Some units can be interconnected. Chambermaids come every day except Sunday. All the bungalows have plasma/LCD TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, a two-hob cooker, toaster and electric kettle. All the utensils and pots and pans are there. There is Wifi access and babysitting service available.
On the weekends, local families join for beach barbeques where some fantastic food is cooked. The water is mostly calm and great for swimming and snorkelling. This is the area where the French grew their spices including cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Today, the University of Seychelles is there as well as farming and fishing.
Guests can get the supplies they need for self-catering at Anse Royal. There are grocery stores as well as restaurants. Just 10 kilometres from the capital Victoria, guests can spend a day in the city looking at the art and culture and historical buildings.
The Fleur De Sel offers a beauty centre and massage. Fishing and other water activities can be arranged on request. The reefs for snorkelling are just in front of the beach. The owner will arrange excursions to Victoria, boat trips, hiking and walking through some of the most beautiful tropical forests and tours to see the many birds and tortoises on other islands.
