The Paradise Sun Hotel is on Praslin Island in the Seychelles. It is on the edge of the Cote d'Or Beach and the beautiful turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. The hotel is surrounded by tropical gardens and verdant lawns and the staff is famous for their friendly and welcoming smiles.
The rooms are spacious with wide decks built in the traditional Creole architecture. All the rooms face the ocean and have gardens. Some of the rooms have connecting doors which make them ideal for families, and cots are provided on request free of charge. Each room has entertainment centres and other five star amenities.
The restaurant offers French Creole style cuisine and other styles at different cuisine themes each week. Breakfast, lunch or dinner is served at the restaurant on the sand and guests come barefoot. The bar is also on the beach and there is live traditional music and dancing.
Diving is one of the most popular activities at the hotel and there is a lot to see underwater. Whitetip sharks, nurse sharks and grey reef sharks as well as the awesome whale shark are all regularly seen by divers as well as sting rays, napoleons, barracudas and 900 species of beautifully coloured reef fish. Night dives and snorkelling are also available.
Onsite there is also table tennis, yoga and aqua aerobics, a PADI Centre, Creole cooking classes every week, nature walks, an outdoor pool with children's section and a gift shop. Visitors can see other islands including the UNESCO World Heritage site the Vallee de Mai where there is the biggest leaf in the world and the rare Blue Pigeon and Black Parrot.
The Paradise Sun Hotel Spa offers Balinese massage as well as facials, scrubs and wraps with organic botanical extracts. The Indonesian therapists are highly qualified to give guests a relaxing and refreshing experience.
